Delivery:
All services will be delivered and collected at agreed timings. If access is blocked on site and the delivery is unable to take place due to the client not arranging access full charges for the services will be applied.
If items cannot be collected due to access not being arranged by the client or if any items are missing additional hire charges for the period until they are returned will be charged.
Returns:
Please arrive promptly at your booked return time, failure to do so will lead to an additional days hire charge.
Collections:
If our driver is unable to collect the items at the agreed time this will lead to an additional hire charge plus collection fee.
Hire Terms:
By hiring with Your Event UK you authorise Your Event UK to charge the debit card or credit card on file with any other charges in accordance with this hire agreement including but not limited to:
a) any damages that will be charged at the full replacement cost for that item plus an administration fee.
b) loss of, or damage or repair to the equipment, loss of use, diminution of the equipment’s value caused by damage to it or repair to it, and costs to enforce such charges including administrative fees for processing the claim and legal expenses.
d) the daily hire charge for any late returns of the equipment.
e) all fines, penalties, court costs and other expenses relating to the equipment not being returned in the same condition as hired and at the agreed time.
f) all expenses Your Event UK incurs due to failure to return the equipment including costs in locating and recovering the equipment.
g) all costs incurred to collect unpaid monies due.
h) any additional unpaid services such as setups or packdown.
i) any injuries to guests from using food services provided where we have not been notified of any allergies, intolerances and ensure the safe consumption of said goods.
j) any damages to DJ or event equipment caused by guests or any third parties at the event.
k) any damages to guests caused by negligible behaviour of other guests or any third parties at the event.
l) any further dj time costs or staff costs occurred due to the event not running to the agreed schedule.
m) an additional £50 fine for any undisclosed damages or missing items.
Delivery Terms:
All deliveries include an explanation and demonstration but not setup and packdown, please purchase if required.
Setup & Packdown:
Certain items such as chair covers and staging include setup and packdown in the price all other items do not. If you would like this service please ask our driver and purchase a setup or packdown service now. Please return equipment neatly packed away ready for collection as it was delivered including all original boxes and packaging. You will be liable for a packdown charge if this isn’t done.
Problems or Call Outs:
By hiring this equipment you agree you understand how to use it and are technically competent to do so.
If you do require our technician services where no equipment fault is found you will be liable for our call out charges. £35 per call out, £1 per mile.
General Agreement:
By booking with Your Event UK you agree to the above terms and conditions and take full responsibility of all equipment.
Fully Refundable Damage Deposit Information:
Where appropriate a fully refundable damage deposit is taken and held in a separate account.
This is fully refunded 14 days after the event if all items are returned in a good and undamaged condition.
Payment Terms:
All payments must be clear prior to the booking unless stated differently, all payments are non refundable or transferable, any other unpaid services will be charged onto your debit or credit card without notice.
Terms & Conditions:
By paying a deposit or booking with us you agree to abide by our full terms & conditions and accept full liability for any damage to goods or property during your event and any additional charges incurred to supply, repair or replace these.
Cancellation Policy:
Any bookings cancelled up to 2 months prior to event date are charge free however any payments or deposits already made will not be refunded.
Any bookings cancelled 1 month prior to the event date will be charged at 50% of the total booking amount.
Any bookings cancelled within 1 months prior to the event date will be charged 100% of the full booking amount.
Photography & Image Ownership:
By booking any service with us including photobooths you agree that all images either of the event or taken in a photobooth are the original copyright content of Your Event UK which we will use on social media or for marketing purposes as we see fit. The paying client will have access to these photos which they can also redistribute as they see fit and they will only be removed from our website or social media where in-appropriate content is shown or at our own discretion. The client is responsible for ensuring all guests are aware of this and act in an acceptable manner where photography is taking place and must make guests aware prior if they do not give consent for their images to be distributed.
